American Point guard Travis Trice II (183-PG-1993) had an amazing evening in the last week for second-ranked Criollos de Caguas, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for week 11.
The 32-year old player got a double-double of 26 points and 10 assists, while his team beat Carolina (#3, 7-7) 97-91. Criollos maintains the 2nd position in their group in the Puerto Rican BSN. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Caguas will need more victories to improve their 9-5 record. In the team's last game Trice II had a remarkable 62.5% from 2-point range and got four three-pointers out of 7 attempts. He just recently signed at Criollos, being already a very valuable addition to the team. Former Michigan State University star has very solid stats this year. Trice II is in league's top in points (4th best: 21.5ppg) and averages impressive 52.6% FGP.

The second best player in last week's games was young American Jameer Nelson Jr. (185-PG-2000) of Piratas de Quebradillas. Nelson Jr. had a very good evening with 29 points and 8 assists. It was enough for Piratas to edge the higher-ranked San German (#2, 10-6) 97-91. Quebradillas' 6th position in Group A has not changed. 12 lost games are too many comparing to just three victories Piratas managed to get this year. Nelson Jr. is one of the most experienced players at Quebradillas and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

Third on the list of top players last week was American center Montrezl Harrell (203-C-1994) of league's second-best Atleticos de San German. Harrell got into 30-points club by scoring exactly 30 points in the last week. He went also for nine rebounds . Despite Harrell's great performance the Atleticos lost 91-97 to the lower-ranked Quebradillas (#6, 3-12). But his team cannot count on just a single shooter as he also needs help of the other teammates. The last thing San German needs is to lose another game like this one. They lose more and more distance to the top teams in the Group A. Their record is 10 victories and 6 lost games. Harrell has a great season in Puerto Rico. After 15 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 9.1rpg (5th best).

8. Noah Horchler (204-PF-1998) of Aguada - 18 points, 9 rebounds and 2 assists
9. Davon Jefferson (203-F-1986) of Santurce - 14 points, 11 rebounds and 5 assists
10. Xavier Cooks (203-F-1995) of Bayamon - 14 points, 8 rebounds and 3 assists
